Wednesday afternoon Reds on the Beach. With the wind blowing hard and the tide dead low we decided to make it an afternoon trip so that the tide would come up and we could get into the ponds for Reds. I had the pleasure of fishing with Greg and Dian Cooke of Harley Davidson of New Orleans. Fishing with dead shrimp under a cork Dian was the first to hook up with a nice Red for the grill. Greg was not far behind her in getting some Reds in the boat. The wind was really blowing hard and we never did find them bunched up in one spot. We made several moves picking up a couple at each stop. They had a great time and put together a nice box of fish. Total for the day was 12 Reds, 3 Drum, and 1 Flounder. Fun time with a nice couple.
WE HAVE 4 BOATS WAITING TO TAKE YOU ON YOUR NEXT FISHING ADVENTURE. OUR LODGE SLEEPS 19 ANGLERS, just steps from the boats. Give us a call at 504 887 4960 or 504 881 9966 (cell). You'll be glad that you did!!
