Saturday report from the Beach. I had part of a two boat group Saturday, with Beaver Edwards, Robert Redden, Mike Picou, and John Martin on my boat. First a stop by Campo’s for bait, then we hit Bay Eloi. We finally found a wellhead that did not have a boat on it and got on a steady bite with live shrimp under a cork. Eventually the bite slowed down so we made a move to a less crowded area and got the Trout going pretty good near a shoreline. The guys put trout after Trout in the boat till all the bait was gone, and we had 111 Trout on ice. It was a fun day with lots of action with a great group of guys.
