Trout Fishing

Rainbow Trout
Brown Trout
Brook Trout

Public fishing is available from April through to September. A variety of proven trout tactics are used, including fly fishing, still fishing with bait, and spincasting. Worms or spinners work great for all three types of trout. In the hot summer months, it is best to use a weight and fish on the bottom, especially in the deeper areas of the ponds (20-25 ft). Flies can also be also productive. Wooly buggers and nymphs are your best bet during the summer. Early in the morning and evening, surface flies can be deadly.

Bass Fishing

Largemouth Bass may be found in some of the ponds. Worms and spinners can be very effective at times. Bass flies, like muddlers and surface poppers are also good baits for these aggressive fish.
